Union Square in Somerville, Massachusetts, is set to welcome a new culinary addition: a Florida-based pizzeria known for its diverse and inventive pizza offerings. This marks Slice House’s first venture outside the Sunshine State, bringing its unique slice-only model to the vibrant Boston-area food scene.

Founders Phill and Elizabeth Mercer are personally overseeing the expansion, having relocated to Cambridge to immerse themselves in the local culture and ensure a seamless integration into the community.

What to Expect on the Menu

Patrons can look forward to an array of over 40 pizza varieties, each crafted with high-quality ingredients and creative flair. Signature offerings include:

  • Chee-sus: A delightful combination of oil, garlic, mozzarella, and ricotta.
  • Zack Attack!: A hearty mix of red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, shaved ribeye, apple cider bacon, jalapeños, raw cheddar, and a drizzle of ranch.

In addition to these staples, Slice House plans to introduce “Boston-specific surprises” to cater to local tastes.
